Terms of service.

These founding terms explain the service, customer responsibilities, remedies and limitations.

Service agreement

By ordering, you confirm that you are at least 18, own or are authorized to submit the hats, provided accurate information and accepted the current care and shipping policies. Second Round Hat Co. may decline any item or order.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars. Applicable taxes and authorized carrier adjustments may be added. Payment is due before shipping instructions are issued. Promotional and referral credits cannot be exchanged for cash.

No outcome guarantee

Cleaning is a best-efforts care service, not restoration to a guaranteed condition. Results vary. No statement or photograph guarantees stain removal, color, odor, fit, structure or appearance for another hat. Autographs, paint, patina, pins, adhesives and undocumented custom work may be damaged or lost and require written pre-approval.

Claims and remedies

Inspect returned hats promptly. Report a service-related concern with photographs within seven calendar days of delivery and retain all packaging. Where appropriate, our remedy may be a re-clean, partial refund or refund of the affected service portion.

Liability

Do not send an irreplaceable, signed or individually valuable hat without written acceptance. To the fullest extent allowed by law, liability for an accepted claim is limited to the lesser of documented fair-market value immediately before service or $250 per order, excluding sentimental value, indirect loss, lost profits and consequential damages. Nothing here excludes rights that cannot legally be waived.

Shipping, delay and force majeure

Carrier performance is outside our control. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by carriers, weather, emergencies, outages, government action or other events beyond reasonable control.

Disputes and governing law

Before filing a claim, email hello@secondroundhats.com and allow 30 days for an informal resolution. Governing law and venue will be updated to the business’s registered operating state before checkout is activated.

Founding legal copy must be reviewed against the final entity, operating address, insurance and state requirements before live payments are enabled.
