Care first

An honest policy for well-worn hats.

Cleaning can improve a hat without reversing its history. We assess every piece and avoid unreasonable risks.

Good candidates

Most modern cotton, polyester, performance-fabric and mesh golf or baseball caps with stable dyes and intact construction can be considered. A care label helps, but does not guarantee acceptance or a particular result.

Ask before sending anything irreplaceable

Autographs, paint, pins, rare patches, vintage materials and unknown adhesives can change or disappear during cleaning. Never send a signed, collectible, sentimental or difficult-to-replace hat without clear photographs and written acceptance.

Leather, suede, fur, straw, wool, felt, electronics, unstable dyes, cracking finishes, failing adhesives, severe structural damage and vintage hats that may contain cardboard brims require another specialist or will be returned uncleaned.

Results vary

We do not promise “like new,” complete stain removal, restored original color, odor elimination, waterproofing, shrink-free results or a particular shape. Sun fading, sweat chemistry, age, fabric, prior cleaning and hidden damage can affect the outcome.

Exceptions and refunds

If cleaning presents an unreasonable risk, we may stop before or during care. A declined individual hat does not change the flat batch price when other hats are cleaned. If the entire order is declined, the cleaning portion is refunded; payment processing and incurred shipping remain non-refundable where permitted by law.

Pre-existing and inherent conditions

Customers remain responsible for disclosing sentimental value, known damage, repairs and unusual materials. We document visible condition at intake. Second Round Hat Co. is not responsible for normal consequences of an item’s pre-existing weakness or undisclosed construction.

Photo permission

Operational intake and completion photos are required for quality and condition records. Public marketing use is separate and optional; declining marketing permission does not affect service.
